We had the pleasure of having Rose as our tour guide for two of our tours in Edinburgh. Rose is an absolute delight and very willing to allow us to hear all of her wonderful stories. During the break at Inverary Castle, Rose even took time to have a long conversation with my mother about some historical questions. Anyone who gets Rose for a tour will not be disappointed! This was a long all-day tour, but it's well worth it, especially if you get to stop at Loch Lomond and walk around the lovely village for a bit.

Our 1day tour to Oban was a delightful experience. Tom, our guide kept us well informed during the day on the scenery, all the historical events and places. I know a bit of history and everything seem to fall into place. It was a day well spent and I hope yo return to Scotland in the future as there is still so much more that I would like to see!

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for arranging everything for us. First of all, I found out that Irelands souvenier are a bit cheaper than Scotland. I should have bought a lot more cute key chains and t-shirts.

We saw the1) Firth of Clyde, 2) Sterling Castle, 3) Village of Luss ( I would recommend this as part of your tour) We were not there that long but it is such beautiful village with full of flowers in front of people's residences 4) viewed part of the Loch and......... I was not sure if we ate 5) lunch in Aberfoyle Village but then again.......we are easy customers. I believe we were on the other side of the dock. We ate in another place with our guide and treated him like family. We decided not to do the cruise on the Balloch because after looking at the time, there just wouldn't be enough time to go back to the ship. We would have been biting our nails if we had added that cruise. We considered the traffic also going back. It was our own judgement call even though I am sure that the guide would have relented because it was part of our arrangement. We were thankful that we did not do the cruise. The ride going back became stress free!

Guide: The name of our guide is Roland Smith. Please use him if you can possibly get him. He is the funniest, easy going, hard-working, and the best tour guide we ever-ever had. If you want to change carreer Mike, sponsor this guy and ask him to be his manager while he is performing his act as a comedian. You will be rich in no time. He is good!!!, really good!!! He can imitate several character voices, this guy is gifted and very natural.

As for Edinburgh, the problem here was that from the ship, you have to be tendered to the dock. That got our schedule skewed. We were 40 minutes late meeting our guide because of the numbering inside the ship. The people that got the shore excursion from Princess got out of the little boat first while the rest waited for the transportation to come back to the ship. We were happy that we included 1) Rosslyn Chapel to our list of must see. Going into the city, we saw a glimpse of Arthurs Seat. We were drop off close to Edinburgh Castle, saw the castle (very impressive), went to some of the store at the royal mile, gobbled our fish and chips along the way then got picked up to see Hollyrood.

We had an absolute blast - thanks for your efforts on our behalf.

The guide was great. He did a really good job of balancing showing us some of the sights, giving us information, and knowing when we were looking to break off on our own. In my experience guides can be a bit pushy and try to show you everything, but we were treated really well and never felt rushed.

The distilleries chosen were great, especially Glengoyne - really nice place, very nicely done, and my friends and I actually purchased a cask of whisky together. This means, of course, that we'll be coming back often (and again in November, for which I'll be emailing you later to help arrange some travel and accommodation).

Gleneagles was fantastic - truly one of the best places we could have stayed. The service was great, and the staff were astoundingly accommodating - even as my friends and I drank most of the whisky we bought earlier in the day and smoked cigars on the croquet pitch. Great choice, and we'd recommend it to anyone thinking about partaking of shooting, golf, or just a nice stay in a beautiful place. Also, very nice spa area that was included in the room price.

Bottom line, your itinerary was great, didn't push us too far while showing us enough of the country to feel like we were outside of the cities, and the driver was fantastic. We'd recommend your services to any friends heading to Scotland, and the driver specifically if he's available when they come calling.

Thanks again, and look forward to working with you again when we return for the cask-filling in November.
