Cancellation Policy
REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS
Below are the standard terms of cancellations. For regular tours please refer to each tours individual terms when making the booking online. Be-spoke services terms may vary and change.
- Be-spoke (Private) 1 Day Services; private services of only 1 day (tours, transfers, etc..) are non-refundable 2 weeks prior.
- Regular 1 Day Tours; More than 72 hours 10% non-refdunable. Within 72 hours of the tour departure, no refund will be given.
- Regular 1/2 day walking tours; 100% non-refundable
- Be-spoke (Private) Multi-day Services; A 75% refund (25% of package price or £200 GBP if 10% of the price lower, the deposit is non-refundable) will be made if cancellations are received a minimum of 60 Days prior to the Tour departure. From 59 to 30 Days 50% of the tour cost is non-refundable. From 30 days prior to departure, 100% of the tour cost is non-refundable.
- Regular Multi-day Tours; More than 21 days 10% non-refdunable. Within 21 days of the tour departure, no refund will be given.
- No Shows; if you do not show up for the tour on time no refund will be given
- Shore Excursions (Private tours); We are not responsible for the actions your cruise liner makes. If the ship can not come to shore no refund will be given.
- Shore Excursions (Regular tours); refund will be given
Note: No refunds are made for any unused services including accommodations, sightseeing tours, transportation, etc. with or without notice and the above schedule lists cancellation penalties in effect from time of reservation on any tour or extension. Go Scotland Tours is not responsible for cancelations or delays caused by forces of nature or airlines.
Important for Regular Tour Bookings: After making a reservation online you will be sent a confirmation email with the tour company name, departure point and time. Go Scotland Tours offers a variety of different tours from different suppliers, with different departure points. Go Scotland Tours is not the company name to look for when you arrive. If you fail to print this confirmation and are unaware of these details you will not receive a refund. It is advisable to check your junk mail folder. It is not necessary to call to reconfirm.
We reserve the right to cancel trips under exceptional circumstances such as those out with of our control. In such cases clients will be promptly informed and offered:
Transfer to a substitute trip or tour, or an alternative trip or if the tour is a lower cash value clients will receive a cash adjustment refund; or a total refund of all prepaid monies.
