Guide - Mike O'Rourke STGA
Our group of 6 traveled with Go Scotland Tours to the Orkney Islands from Inverness. Mike our tour director and Andy our driver were excellent. The tour was customized to meet our groups needs. Mike and Andy were knowledgeable about the historic sites on Orkney and they took very good care of us. The Kirkwall Hotel was comfortable and the hotel restaurant was very good. The highlights of the trip were Skara Brae, Maeshowe, and St. Magnus Cathedral. I would highly recommend Go Scotland Tours.

Guide - Mike O'Rourke
Scotland is beautiful...even with the wind and rain. Mike knows his stuff. I think we hit the key sites on the Islands, of course there is always more to see and do, but our time was limited. We had one negative experience with the Argylle Hotel, which is not appropriate for a private tour. It would have been better to stay in a nearby town at a nicer hotel or B&B.

Guide - John Duncan
John was very prompt to Pick us up for our tour and was extremely knowledgeable! He kept us entertained with stories, facts, humor and poetry. We felt safe with his driving and he squeezed in extras when he could. I would highly recommend!

Guide - John Duncan
Tour was very good. Our original time had to be changed as my father lost his passport and we had to go to the consulate before we took the tour. Both the driver and tour guide were very accommodating and understanding. It started off Avery stressful day and it worked out thanks to their help.

Guide - Mke O'Rourke
We had a great tour of Edinburgh with Mike as our leader. He handled our change of plans (to visit the Royal Yacht) with appropriate consideration to time, lunch, getting everything in, routes, etc. We were a three generation family and all of us - even the teens - liked his style. He also chose a great place for lunch since we didn't have time for a pub meal. Thank you for a great tour of a beautiful city.

Brilliant 4 day tour starting from Edinburgh and ending in Glasgow. My sister and I were very lucky as we were the only 2 tourists on this tour. Our guide/driver Mark Ruis is very knowledgeable specially regarding Scottish history, has a great sense of humour , very chatty and helpful, a first class tour guide. The Islay Whisky tour consisted of visit to 6 whisky distilleries with tasting, we thoroughly enjoyed each one. We also enjoyed the breathtaking scenery on the island with exceptionally beautiful sunset. We were very lucky with the weather too as it was dry and sunny throughout our stay on the island. Islay is renowned for the Peaty Whiskies, so if you like Peaty whisky, we fully recommend this tour.

Excellent trip, well planned, well paced, superb guides Jim and Doug. We were definitely the "grandparents" of the small groups and our fellow travelers and guides could not have been more accepting. And fun! With one exception, the bed and breakfasts chosen were winners, best ever. Lovely hosts, and I'm still thinking of the morning we had smoked salmon and eggs scrambled with cream. We definitely will plan to travel with Rabbie's again.

Mike was a logistics master! We had a lot to fit into a Hebrides tour and he really made things go smoothly. He also suggested a couple of stops, like Staffa, that were unmissable, and we really appreciated it. Mike would be particularly great for distillery tours which we were not on but took some suggestions. We hired him for a private tour of the Islands with four of us. Mike was willing to work with us for whatever we wanted. It is my understanding that Mike can take any size group. We appreciated the need to not drive in a challenging environment for us coming from the States.
