Day Tour to Loch Ness, Glencoe and the Scottish HighlandsA full day tour taking in some of the most breath-taking and dramatic scenery of the Scottish Highlands, including Glencoe, a cruise on Loch Ness and visit to Urquhart Castle.

From Glasgow we travel north, before making a coffee stop on the shores of Loch Lomond. Travelling the length of the loch, we climb up into the Highlands, over the unique desolate landscape of Rannoch Moor and the Black Mount to the majestic Glencoe, one of Scotland's best-loved glens, Loch Ness Day Tour from Glasgowmade famous for the 1692 massacre of the MacDonald clan.

We stop in the Fort William area for lunch, then continue into the natural beauty of the Great Glen as we pass beneath Britain's highest mountain,Ben Nevis. Travelling on, we can admire the Caledonian Canal, the pretty village of Fort Augustus, and enjoy spectacular views of Loch Ness as we drive along the 24-mile shoreline to Urquhart Castle.

Loch Ness is over 700 feet deep but is of course better-known for its sightings of theLoch Ness Day Tour from Glasgow Loch Ness monster, affectionately called 'Nessie'. Spend approximately 2 hours at Loch Ness, where you can choose to take a wonderful 5 Star Jacobite cruise and explore the ruins of Urquhart Castle and its modern visitor centre.

At Inverness, capital of the Highlands, we start our return for home, crossing the Grampian Mountains and the woodland scenery of Perthshire, including the Forest of Atholl, with an evening stop at the Victorian resort town of Pitlochry en route back to Glasgow.

The Tour Includes:

note: these tours normally run at a medium group size, air-conditioned Mercedes Benz vehicles, ranging in size from 16 to 43 seats .

Not Included:
- All optional extras – attraction entrance fees, loch cruises, food and drink etc – are not included in the price of your tour. This is to allow our guests the freedom to choose which optional extras they would like to take part in on the day.

Optional extras for your tour are as follows:

Loch Ness cruise (1 hour): £13 adults, £12 children
Loch Ness cruise (30 min) and entrance to Urquhart Castle: £18 adults, £14 children

The above rates are valid until March 2017. Please note some attractions do not accept credit cards, entrance fees are payable in cash only.

What should I bring with me?
- As we like to give you as much time off the coach as possible, and you have the opportunity for walks, we recommend you bring warm and/or waterproof clothing, wear comfortable shoes, and take a sun-block or a hat for sunny days.

And don’t forget your camera to capture all the lovely scenery and wildlife you’ll encounter on your tour!
