Tour Description:
Take a day tour for The Famous Grouse whisky Experience and visit Scotland's oldest distillery. After explore the scenic lochs and glens of Perthshire. Also we will stop at the castles of Stirling and Doune. Available only on Wednesday tours from April to September is wildlife tours on the Moors with a RSPB guide.
Leaving Glasgow we travel to the Aberfoyle area, where our first stop is the Scottish Wool Centre. We continue north via the Pass of Leny, pausing for photo stops of the spectacular views at Loch Achray and Loch Drunkie in the Trossachs.
Travelling via Loch Earn and Strathearn Valley, our next stop is Crieff, where we visit The Famous Grouse Experience, Scotland's oldest distillery, which dates back to 1775. Here we can enjoy a fascinating and fun tour, sample a 'dram' and have lunch in the award-winning restaurant.
After lunch we make a brief stop to explore the 14th Century Doune Castle, and finally make our way to the imposing Stirling Castle, with its turbulent past and associations to some of
Scotland's most interesting historic figures, including William Wallace and Mary, Queen of Scots. Enjoy time here before your return to Glasgow.

Glasgow tours depart from 11 George Square, just outside the Visit Scotland Tourist Information Centre, near to Queen Street Railway Station.

Not Included:
- Food, drink, visitor attraction entry fees and activities such as cruises are not included in the tour price but these are optional and we can advise you of the costs before you book.
Important Information:
- We recommend you bring warm and/or waterproof clothing for the changeable Scottish weather, and because you will have the opportunities for walks on some of our tours. You should wear comfortable shoes for walking, take a sunblock and/or a hat for sunny days and don't forget your camera!
You can also take cold food and drink on the coach if you wish but you will always have stops for eating and drinking - your driver will inform you of the options on the tour.
