Tour Description:

A day tour to The Famous Grouse whisky distillery. Explore Perthshire's scenic lochs and glens and visit Scotland's oldest distillery. Enjoy a unique new wildlife tour with the RSPB on Tuesday tours and learn more about the black and red grouse!
Leaving Edinburgh we travel into Fife for our first stop at Dunfermline Abbey, then we head towards Crieff, passing the famous resort of Gleneagles. At Glenturret Distillery, we can take a fascinating and fun tour of Scotland's Oldest Distillery (Est. 1775) at The Famous Grouse Experience, sample a 'dram' and enjoy lunch in the award-winning restaurant.
In the afternoon we head to Dunkeld and Birnam Wood where we make a stop at The Hermitage for a gentle woodland walk before returning to Edinburgh via Perth and Loch Leven.

Edinburgh tours depart from 555 Castlehill, just below the Esplanade of Edinburgh Castle, at the top of the Royal Mile.

Not Included:
- Food, drink, visitor attraction entry fees and activities such as cruises are not included in the tour price but these are optional and we can advise you of the costs before you book.
Important Information:
- We recommend you bring warm and/or waterproof clothing for the changeable Scottish weather, and because you will have the opportunities for walks on some of our tours. You should wear comfortable shoes for walking, take a sunblock and/or a hat for sunny days and don't forget your camera!
You can also take cold food and drink on the coach if you wish but you will always have stops for eating and drinking - your driver will inform you of the options on the tour.
