We begin our journey to New Year cheer from Edinburgh, Scotland's capital, travelling north over the famous Forth Road Bridge. The road will take us to the beautiful snowy Highlands of Scotland, and a stunning woodland walk followed by a coffee stop in the picturesque town of Pitlochry. After a wonder round the town we continue our journey north along the traversing roads in the Cairngorm mountain region and a spot of lunch before heading to the highland capital, Inverness. We will spend our evening in the company of Robbie and the team at the Drumnadrochit hotel in Loch Ness, where celebrations begin a day early.

Welcome to Hogmanay, New Years Eve in Scotland!! We begin our day monster hunting along Loch Ness before beginning our journey to the magical Isle of Skye.

Hogmanay Scotland Tour - Experience New Year the Scottish wayMany a song and poem have been written about this island and you will see why, with the imposing white capped Cullin mountain range (hopefully), dramatic sloping hills of the Quaraing and breathtaking Trotternish peninsula just a few of its hidden treasures. Hence the very reason we will be staying in the vicinity for the next two evenings.

A warm welcome awaits us on the west coast were we will prepare for a New years eve of choice, either a relaxing evening in the hotel or to the village pub we go and with drink in hand... ...join in the party!!!

Happy New Year... ...with free time on your hands, how to spend your day is entirely up to you. A lie in? A chance to explore the local Village, try otter & seal spotting or hike up a hill, the choice is yours. Whatever you choose, we recommend working up an appetite.

Later that day, join your hosts & guide for a delicious traditional roast dinner celebration and a heartfelt toast to the coming year and all that it brings.

Leaving Skye behind, we head south to Fort William where our journey then takes us under the shadow of the famous Ben Nevis. As we wynd further south we enter through the scenic region of Glencoe and the wild expanse of Rannoch moor. The last touches of our glorious highlands were the stunning scenery will leave you in awe, the perfect way to start your New Year.
