Tour Description:

Aberdeen three castles and views day tour. Traveling in a small grouped tour from Huntly, Inverurie and Aberdeen we travel West from Aberdeen city, following the river Dee. Hear about the areas History see some of Aberdeenshire's fine castles and views.

Our tour starts from Aberdeen, Inverurie and Huntly Tourist offices

First stop of the day Drum Castle we have some time for a look around the outside of the castle seeing one of three, oldest towers in Scotland.

Following on we travel to Crathes Castle our main tour stop of the day, time for a tour of the castle or a walk around the walled gardens and grounds. Entry fee required if you wish to see inside the Castle or Walled gardens.

We travel on to Cairn o mount for views across the southerly coastline of Aberdeenshire.

Lunch stop, Clatterin brig Cafe

After lunch we travel to Dunnottar Castle, 10 min walk for views to the ruins of this historic castle.

A short drive to Stonehaven, time given for a walk around the harbour or a ice-cream.

Then returning to Aberdeen Tourist Information Centre, Inverurie and Huntly.
