Tour Description:

Robert the Bruce Tour
King Robert the Bruce and his court stand ready to grace your event with their royal presence. Perfect for family fun days, corporate evenings, medieval gatherings or just a gratuitous entry of Scotland’s greatest-ever king, our Robert the Bruce will certainly enliven your event. Whether you are a small or large group a meeting of the king can be arranged to be included on a tour or day trip.

"Greetings humble subject, I am Robert the Bruce, Scotland's warrior king. Victor of The Battle of Bannockburn. Liberator of Scotland from English oppression. I'd like to tell you of my part in it all, from the terrible defeats Scotland suffered and my own status as an outlaw to the writing of TheDeclaration of Arbroath and our eventual freedom."

"If you're worthy of a knighthood or a ladyship, I can confer these on you, as befits an all-powerful monarch of the realm. But remember to show respect at all times. I am known for my great sense of humour but I don't suffer fools gladly.  And bring a camera for a royal photo opportunity but make sure you get my left profile. My adviser here at the castle says it is my more favourable side.  Just don't challenge me to a joust! I have never been known to turn down such a request."

Robert the Bruce TourAdditional Historical Character Actors
With his good Queen, Elizabeth, his trusty Highland bodyguard Big Seoras, Patrick the Jester and Isobel, Countess of Buchan in the party, the royal visit will add much colour, glamour and an air of theatricality to the atmosphere.

Robert the Bruce in Action
Good King Robert will be happy to deliver a stirring opening address, talk of his struggles in Scotland’s fight for independence and, for no further remuneration, he might even confer an honour or two on the guests, the ceremony ending with the issuing of a souvenir scroll. As the king says, “Always get it in writing!”.Robert the Bruce Tour

Robert the Bruce is also brave enough to go out on his own so if you need him for meet’n’greet or just a photo-shoot, he might just have enough time left over from ruling the country with his iron fist in a chain-mail glove.

You don’t mess with the king but it must be said he is generally a jovial monarch.

Robert the Bruce TourKing Robert the Bruce: After Dinner Speaker
If there is one thing for sure we know about Robert the Bruce, it’s that he could deliver a good speech.

Why not book King Robert for a one-hour after-dinner presentation? It makes a change from flabby ex-footballers!

For an after-dinner speech with a distinctly Scottish flavour, make sure to book Robert the Bruce – enquire now for availability.

On a tour to the Kingdom of Fife and St.Andrews we can stop at Dunfermline Abbey where the King will welcome you into his Knighthood.

These are just some examples, if you have another location in mind please enquire to arrange a be-spoke tour or event.

Robert Bruce's Royal Mile Tour.
Join the king at the Scottish Parliament and march to Edinburgh Castle, stopping along the way to learn about places of interest, from high to low Scottish history and culture. The king will do it all with a smile but with authority, answering your relevant (and otherwise!) questions. The King will avoid the usual stuffiness you can expect from humourless appointed guides and he will create a tour to suit your party, leaving you better informed of Edinburgh and Scotland itself but delivered in an interactive and friendly manner.
Historically accurate. Hysterically funny!
