Meet Rob Roy, a man who became synonymous through novels by Sir Walter Scott, and not so recently in a movie. But he was a true man, an outlaw hero with a story to tell. England has Robin Hood, America has Billy the Kid, Scotland has Rob Roy Magregor!

"Rob Roy McGregor they call me in English, but that is not my first language. I am a Highlander, a Gael, a Jacobite and an outlaw. Right now I am on the run from government soldiers and the Duke Of Montrose would like to meet me to discuss a thousand pound loan that doesn't look like being paid!

There's a price on my head but Highland honour should see that no-one hands me over to the King's men.
Are there any spies among you? You won't live long enough to tell your story, on that you have my word!

But if you want to hear my tales of double-dealing, daring escapes and a bit of our ancient culture, I have a wee bit of time and a wee bit more good whisky to share with you.
