The Quest For The Grail. Doune Castle was the location for Monty Python's Holy Grail movie nearly forty years ago. It hasn't changed much and you can still see where many of its famous scenes were shot. Where the giant wooden rabbit was hauled to the castle door. John Cleese's outrageous French character shouting obscenities from the ramparts. The slaughter at the wedding and the song and dance routine of 'Knights of the Round Table'.

Go Scotland Tours will summon up the ghost of King Arthur who will oversee you being correctly dressed and issued with two halves of as coconut so you can go on a new quest for the Grail. Be prepared for much silliness. *Not for serious-minded bores.
