The accommodation in this hotel is very good with Scottish food available in the dining room. The Kelvin Hotel is situated in a grade B listed building which is one of the oldest buildings in Oban. From train station turn right after passing scotrail ticket office go past M and Co (clothes shop) just before Semi-chem (chemist) turn right between the buildings now you are on Shore Street walk past the bowling alley that is situated on the right handside of Shore Street The Kelvin Hotel is 30 metres past the bowling alley on the left handside. As the train comes in to the Oban Train Station the Kelvin Hotel is on the right hand side.
