    The Holiday Inn Express - Edinburgh City Centre is ideally located with in a five minute walk from Princes Street Edinburgh Waverley station and St. Andrews Bus station with a ten minute walk to the Royal Mile. Situated in Edinburgh's New Town it is the perfect location for both business and leisure visits.This Georgian listed building offers a 161 modern and refreshing bedrooms a welcoming lounge bar and business centre. Our complimentary continental breakfast is available for all guests and is served in our 'Great Room' above reception. All rooms have ensuite bathrooms with power showers and wireless internet access. The hotel has 9 car parking spaces that are allocated on a first come first served basis. These spaces cost 5 per night and if you have any access needs please call us once you have made a booking. Alternatively our guests can park in Greenside NCP where we offer a 20% discount. Please bring your car parking ticket to be validated before you check-out and remove your car.Check in time is from 2pm onwards and check-out must be by 11am. If you arrive to or depart from Edinburgh outwith these times we can store you luggage free of charge. Please come to the Reception which is manned 24 hours

The hotel is at the far end opposite the Playhouse Theatre.From South: From the A702A720 head for city centre East and Leith then Princes Street East at the top of Leith Walk the hotel is opposite the Playhouse Theatre.The hotel is located at the East end of Princes Street and Queen Street at the rounabout opposite the Playhouse Theatre the Omni Centre and the rear of John Lewis. The hotel is located within a listed Georgian Building on the right side of Hertz-Rent-A-Car. WALKING DIRECTIONSThe hotel is located 5 minutes walk from the East End of Princes Street and a 10-minute walk from Waverley Railway Station. At the East End of Princes Street turn left on to Leith Street. HMV and St James Shopping Centre will be on your left hand side. Continnue down Leith Street and John Lewis Department Store will be on your left side. The hotel is located beyond Picardy Place Roundabout on the right side of Hertz-Rent-A-Car. ACCCESIBLE FACILITIES Guests with accessible or mobility needs are requested to contact the hotel on 0131 558 2312 prior to arrival. The hotel has a number of accessible bedrooms (available upon request and subject to availability). There are stone steps leading from Picardy Place to Reception. As the building is a listed property there are no ramps lifts permitted. Alternative access is via Broughton Street Lane next to accessible blue badge car parking.
